Live a life less ordinary...

...live a life extraordinary with me.

1: add me to your friend's list
2: I will probably add you back!

If you have been removed from my friend list (or denied for an add), it's probably because I felt a breach in my personal safety, you never updated, you were probably too egotistical, annoying, cruel, emo, or otherwise mentally unattractive.

The Sims 2 blather

PUBLIC ENTRY! All comments by non-friends will be screened.

My favorite part of the game so far is the TV exercise program! It's just as upbeat and annoying as my mom's old Denise Austin videos! I laughed really hard when my character turned it on and started doing all the movements. Maxis did a really good job with this game. :]

Of course, I'm like 3,000 years behind the times with this but whatever!

I can't get my character to look like me. At all. :( sad!

COMMENT.

LISTEN UP!

I have something very important to say to you! To everyone and anyone who happens upon this journal.

Something we all know but forget from time to time: A true friend is someone who accepts you for all of who you are: faults, flaws, imperfect beauty and all.

Today someone with the audacity to call himself my "friend" called. This is pretty normal, as we have been talking on the phone for roughly five years. We met in-person sometimes, but that was always weird. I did in fact consider him my friend! In further fact, he was the only person I have ever told everything to. Even things my best friend doesn't know about. That's how important this guy was to me.

Well, this "friend"... okay, no, he's not a friend. No true friend would say "I don't want to be your friend any more" two days before Christmas.

This guy (who will still name unanymous to save him from your criticism, although I should really buy a billboard for this and let the world know so he learns his lesson) decides that he doesn't want to be my friend any more because we argue and I do things that make no logical sense to him. Some reasons are that I can't affirm to him "hey, that sounds like a really good idea" and because I am very neurotic and forgetful, he just doesn't want to have to "deal with" me any more. I'm too frustrating for him to even bother speaking with now.

If you are a person's friend (this is of course my own personal definition here, although I am sure the majority of you agree) then you generally have to "deal" with ALL of their sides: good, bad, weird, etc.

I ask you now, would you call yourself a friend if you didn't want to deal with all of me, but just parts of me?

Is a true friend someone who only wants to see the certain sides of someone else?

The answer is no, that isn't a friend.

What you'd be instead is someone who likes to browse the human buffet, picking out the best and tossing the worst aside like the rubbish they apparently are.

True friends stick with you through everything.

here's a little list of mine )

It looks like the only way you'll learn is through your mistakes, so enjoy them while they last.

No comments. Thanks for listening.
